This Privacy Policy outlines our practices concerning the collection, use, and sharing of your information. By using our mobile application, you consent to the policies and practices described in this document.

2. Information We Collect

This collection continues in the background, including when the app is closed or not in use, to provide live vehicle tracking, route monitoring, and dispatcher safety and coordination. Tracking begins after the user taps Start Work and grants location permission, and stops after the user taps Stop Work. Location data is not used for advertising or sold.

2.3. Information You Provide

Should you reach out to us directly, either through the app, email, or other channels, we collect:

  • Your name
  • Email address
  • Phone number (if provided)
  • Contents of your message or feedback

2.4. Other Sources

You can change the permissions you have given our app or opt-out of certain communications at any time through your device's settings or the app's settings.

5.3. Requesting Deletion of Your Data

To request deletion of personal data associated with Jar Fleet, email support@jartracking.com with the subject “Jar Fleet data deletion request”. Include your account or vehicle identifier and the name of your organisation so that we can locate the correct records.

We will verify the request and, where the account is managed by an employer or other client organisation, coordinate with that organisation before deleting or anonymising eligible account, location, shift and battery-status data. We will confirm completion by email. We may retain limited records where required by law, contract, fraud prevention, security, or an unresolved legal claim; those records will be deleted or anonymised when the relevant obligation ends.

Uninstalling the app or removing location permission stops future collection but does not delete data already held. A deletion request must be submitted using the process above.
